About Brunswick Motorsport

Brunswick Motorsport was formed by Dave Ashford  almost 30 years ago and have been preparing race winning cars ever since, specialising in the development and construction of racing Alfa Romeo's.

Brunswick built cars have been successful in numerous forms of motorsport with many class wins and outright Championship titles over the years in both Historic and Modern race series. Not forgetting our achievements in International Endurance racing.

Further confirmation of Brunswick's early credentials can be found through successes in motorsport events as diverse as the London-Sahara World Cup Rally, Historic Racing, Mini Miglia's and Endurance Racing.

In 2002 Brunswick, decided to take on the challenge of the Nurburgring 24 Hours, an event widely recognized as one of the world's toughest races. The team defied its "rookie" status and their Alfa Romeo 156 TS posted a good finish. Furthermore, later in the season the potential of the team was further confirmed, with a class victory in the first running of the resurrected Willhire endurance race at Snetterton.

Brunswick has also fielded cars in the British GT series, Britcar Championship, Belgian Touring Car Series and has participated in International 24 Hour Races at Silverstone, Nurburgring, Bahrain and Dubai. Brunswick has also built and prepared numerous cars for customers competing in various UK Championships.

Brunswick engineers have also experienced single seater racing having worked for teams in A1GP and International Formula Masters.
2011 was the 10th year Brunswick have entered the Nurburgring 24 hour race and the team recorded its best ever result with 4th in the highly competitive V6 class and 76th overall along with a Class win and 7th overall in the Britcar 24hr at Silverstone.

In addition to participating in National and International events, Brunswick Motorsport  operate a complete race engineering facility, offering expertise in all aspects of race car construction and development, in addition to track day preparation and performance car servicing, upgrades and maintenance.
